Race\rim sprucing, if that makes any sense

My car is still running with it's 63 hp, crappy suspension and an engine with 240 000km on it. I'm able to spin the tires for a nice 1\20th of a second to get a little squak (if im on the painted line), and shift whenever it sounds like the engine is about to throw it's pistons through the hood. I can beat... a kid riding his BMX down the road. It's kinda pathetic, although I like the gas mileage. I just bought the car, paid $500 for it, and it came with a parts car (which Im mainly parting out for super cheap on ebay) (nimnim93 if you wanna look me up).

Anyway, my car isn't fast by any means, but it gets me from point A to point B (and occasionally, point C) with gas mileage similar to a moped. I am looking though, to slap a "NICER" set of rims on the car. I have some descent rims, not just the regular OEM style ones, but would like to give it a bit more of a unique look. Has anyone painted them? I also have OEM rims on good tires on my parts car (probably for sale), if I can do something with those to "spruce them up"... Any Ideas?

P.S. I'm one of the cheapest guys you'll ever meet.

yeah i think i'll save the gto hunting to my cougar...i don't even want to install my bp now with gas prices the way they are. maybe if i had 2 festivas...

Makes me wish I still had my Stang only thing that killed my stang was a 4 cyl with 2 wheels!

my best time is 15.129 @ 91.8, but that was when I red lighted and it pissed me off so I roasted the tires on purpose through first. Then ended up running my best time...and with out my rpm gauge might i ad, it fucked up in the staging lanes earlyer that day. (damn fuses!) the 5.7 gto I saw run up here was a 14.8, but everyone runs slower up here!
