$800 for a FIJ, 5 spd, AC car with only 100k miles. I would have had the money to her so fast. Nice buy.

Wow, I thought I was biting it a bit on the price. Glad the concensus is that it was a good deal.

grills are cheap on ebay 22.00 with clips and all. Black. Save your ford emblem. You can find a bezel. Get one with good mounting studs and hardware if you can. Special little clips for those too. I kinda like that eight ball shifter. Is it threaded ?

Hey warlocke, Pud is the car's name. I know it's sort of goofy to anthropomorphize cars like that but everyone does it, so what the heck. Besides, my Ranchero is Charlie Brown and the wife's van is the Silver Bullet. :cheese:

As for the shifter, now I'm all confused and stuff. On the one hand, my fellow Missourian freshtiva inquired about it first, but it was recently 25horseplay's birthday. What to do. I don't know if it's threaded, I'll check that out.

                          Washed my Pud today

Didn't take too long to make a big difference. Also, I found the center console piece with the vents so that's one less thing I need. And, the seat belts were all there and work fine. It was just that the fuse was pulled and the shoulder belts were tucked away under the seat. That's one thing she said it needed, funny she didn't know about the fuse. Oh yeah; she also said the radio was broken because the face plate was gone. Well, it was under the seat with the console vent piece. I popped it on and voila, works fine. She threw in a new Pioneer CD player and a new pair of 6.5" speakers too, thinking the radio was toast. So far, yee-hah.

You're the third person who has asked about it. What's so special about it? I think it's annoying. And it is threaded, btw.

have it weighted and you'll love it - specially while speed shifting - at least I love mine lol
