    What's this about your parents buying a car for you. Shame on ya. <grin>
    Convince them to visit the Gateway Arch in StL. While they're at the top, go look at the Festys for sale.

      I'm paying for Half of the car
      -93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.
      -88' Mazda 323 SE, work in progress..
      -85' Nissan Sentra 5 spd.

          Pay for the whole car. Get it in your name.

            x3 paying for the whole thing, (another $500 or whatever) Is worth it for the stick. You will even get that $$ back in better gas milage savings.

              I could pay for the whole car but I'd still have to get a auto But my search for a festy is on hold for now

                I've actually seen about 5 in the year I've been looking, while they are "harder" to find look in your local junkyard...I saw two in the one by my house. If auto is a must for your parents but you can't find one, ask if you can buy a manual and replace the tranny with one from a junkyard. just a thought, but I would prefer to keep my manual;}

                  i have the only auto in my area. besides the reason i got it for so cheap, i got it for the fact that i have bad feet.
