Got a 90 festiva, trying to take rear wheel off to replace tire. removed the four lugs, tire still won't budge. There's some rust, and short of beating the crap out of the wheel i don't know what to do. any suggestions?

When you put it back on I suggest using some grease or anti-sieze around the hub where the rim fits over. This will prevent future problems.

Try this:
set the parking brake. with the lug bolts off, and the center "cutesy cap" off (if it has one), try using some long lever or bar, and turn the rim. See if it will maybe break loose that way...
have someone put weight on the lever, and whack that rim. There should be no other reason (other than rust) as to why this rim will not come off.
Good luck!

Drive it really slow with the flat tire and the lugnuts loose a couple of turns. It wont hurt the rim, if anything it will hurt the tire, but probably not even the tire if you move slow. The Festiva Store
