Anyone know where i can get new brake levers? Does FMS have them? The lever that is in the rear drum brakes that the parking cable attaches to. Every single one that I have worked on has been stuck pretty good and when I do get them "loose" they stick up again in no time.

Mine were frozen when I got my car 6yrs ago,after I freed and lubed them up have not had a problem since,but I pull my rear wheels once a year to check and repack wheel bearings,and also lube all moving parts.Renegade-Midwest Festiva Inc.Illinois Chapter

Did you try to clean them with muriatic acid? Then paint them with some epoxy primer or have them re-plated.Joe Lutz

Ben,
Take a propane torch and heat the living crap out of them. Then PB Blast them and hammer them until they come loose. Then take some of that handy dandy anti-seize, which we all know you use on every bolt so you don't have these same headaches in the future, apply a light coat between the metals and viola!

I soaked mine in a product called "Release-all" for about 10 or 15 minutes and that freed them up. Once that was done I worked some brake lube into the joint and then reinstalled them. Haven't had a problem since.Ian

Hmmmm, mine looked ok. I hope I don't have problems with them. Would that thing getting stuck cause my front shoe on the pass side to be all worn down while the others look fine?

I believe festiva and aspire ones are different since they are different size brakes. Also I called FMS and they said they have the left ones in stock right now and should get the right ones sometime next month. They are $40/piece.The Festiva Store
