Not the best picture, I painted the steelies on this metro last summer, turned out pretty good. I bought the paint at Wal-Mart for a few bucks a can.

no need for expensive primer or clear with the duplicolor wheel coat. also no need to go through the hassle of stripping unless you want to get crazy with them. i have had good luck with this paint, and i've used it at least 10 times. it stands up very well to brake dust and road dirt, just wash the wheels off every now and then. sand down rough spots, scuff up the rest, clean them off, and they are ready for primer, then the paint. cheapy grey walmart primer sticks and covers the best, i usually buy it by the case and i use it on everything, GREAT stuff for the money.Last edited by ruppenduro; 01-27-2009, 09:03 PM.

i wouldn't paint the alloys i think they look best silver IMO. I'd color match steelies anyday though.---------------------------------------------------
