i had planed to keep it the stock color cause it was easier, but my wife has her heart set on a mini cooper look. since i had already ordered the stock paint before she reminded me, we will have to compromise and do both. maroon base color, and gray or black roof and hood stripes. should look awesome when its done........ man i hope its worth all this work.

Your work looks good. What primer/sealer are you using? I don't recognize the color. I've been debating painting my 1990 but a big change in the wind last week I'm unsure if I'll keep my car or sell it soon. (My original retirement plan might be moved up 22 months!)

Nice work, I love to see a festiva get the attention they deserve. Keep the black roof pilars.

just around the windows? or all the pillers? i might do them all black and i'm toying with the idea of a white roof, but pry just all black.

Just like it was originally. It a LX/GL/L plus distinction.

i don't think it will be like it was stock or i would have just taped it off and left it alone.

i would but the reason i'm going with the stock maroon is to avoid all the door jams, hatch and engine bay. i don't want to open the hood to a different color.
