I have a question.... Since you were going to paint the lower half of the car a different color, why did you bother painting it all the way down with the gray?
Just curious, b/c I don't know much about painting cars and I found that interesting. I would have thought, "...save the paint and just paint a little bit below the line where the color changes.

see how on each side of the tape the paint is darker than in the middle of the hood. the middle is just the sealer, and near the tape in paint. hope that helps.Comment

all thats left is to stick the moldings back on and maybe some pin stripes to divide the colors, and to swap out the door glass with tinted glass
we had some runs in the clear that still need to be buffed out (thats the dull sanded areas you see here)
