Was talking to eurotiva today (in person) and brought up the need or idea for a chatroom on here for quick convos and such instead of pming back and forth what does everyone think ????

id luv to have quick talks with everyone i met face to names at FM3!!!

That'd be a good idea, I think. There's a link for chat on the home page, but if you click it, it comes up invalid page selected. Not sure what needs to happen to make it work.

A chat room would be great. I already have everything needed for voice chat.

i vote yes on the chat room, it come in handy some times like just chatting with some people or even someone needing repair help and has alot of little questions that are easy to answer... i think its a good idea

this was hashed over a couple of months ago... Simon said something about server issues and/or vBulletin issues. i vote YES if its possible.

That would be great. I know there are people I would love to chat with. I am also sure that some of us dont bother to check our PMs. Due to the number reply that posted that say PM sent.

Can mods chime in? If the server needs an upgrade, I am sure many of us can donate some $ to do so. A few other boards I am on have similar formats and chat is available

A simple "We are looking into it" would have sufficed.
Being smarmy wasn't called for.

This is a topic we have looked at before.
I'm not certain why it isn't functional, Simontuffguy will likely let us know what, if anything, can be done to bring chat on line.

Wouldn't matter if mod or not.
Member have asked about this before and I'm not clear why we can't get it to work.
Might be very good reason, just don't remember.
Hopefully, we'll know long before a few weeks.
