      Heck, why not.

The Festiva is Pud. Because it looked like a "Pud" when I first saw it.

The Ranchero is Charlie Brown. Mostly 'cause it's brown.

The wife's minivan is the Silver Bullet. Yep, 'cause it's silver.
Remember "I" before "E", except as in Budweiser.

My first car was a 1977 Ford Pinto I called my "Chariot of Fire"....luckily never had to prove it!
My second was a 1969 Firebird I dubbed "Ubar".
My first Festy was called "The Micro Machine".
The second was called "The Car-Jacket"....some guy at work said that when I got to the jobsite, instead of getting out of the car, I took it off!
My current 1991 Caprice Classic is called two things: "Whoop-dee" and "Grannymobile".

My "friends" call mine the rolling coffin.

They love to crack jokes about it.

"You get into an accident with that and they'll take you AND the car in the ambulance"
"The fire department will ask 'what kind of car? Bring the can opener'"
"You should put 'objects in the mirror are about to run your butt over' on the side mirror"

                Some friends I have.
