40 is no big deal. The Civic and corolla get that. They are both big cars imho.

2010 Corolla gets 26/35 at best
2010 Civic gets 25/36 at best

And wouldnt trust it? Just because some journalist whos never even tested it gives it a bad review cause some other automaker is giving him money, doesnt mean its a bad car. Look at REAL consumer reviews. Theres alot of people who love it and say its very comfortable and quiet. Which is opposed to what some of the journalist say who have never even tested them. Sure theres bad cars in every automaker. Look at toyota haha. But you got to have beer goggles on to say the fuggly fiesta looks better than that aveo RS. Some people just cant admit when another brand is better cause they're either stuck on there brand ie ford/kia or they have some kind of grudge against the opposing brand? :roll:lol

Maybe I was basing my distrust on owners who can't keep an alignment, or brakes. Or maybe I'm basing it on other daewoo crap.

I liked the look of the older Aveos, and the four-door I rented to go to Florida back in 2005 did alright. Daewoo could be improving on its quality, too. Still, with 19 inch wheels and all the "aggressive" styling, it's not the car for me. The Fiesta looks a bit better to me, but we'll see about the Ka-like car that should be coming.

We'll have to almost destroy our economy first to get anything simple and cheap enough for me.

remember, the RS is only a concept at the moment. The Fiesta is obtainable. I think they're both on the ugly side, but the Aveo is slightly more tolerable.

Also, take it easy. No one is attacking you, so there's no need to get huffy. They simply did what you did; state their opinion.

And as someone who's been working on all sorts of cars for almost two decades, I have to agree with the assessment of Daewoo's quality; substandard. Hopefully that will change. Their engineering, however, is usually very good. Big difference between the two subjects.

Sorry If I was coming off as a jerk I was just be joking around. Anyway Kia are crap too just like Hyundai was too but now they are improving on there quality as can any car company. And yes I know it's a concept. I just really hope they produce it

ok, well for one, my dad has just gotten off a crack binge, after not having anything to do with him for 2 yrs. I'm so thankful he his off that stuff or I wouldn't have a father, so I take offense to that. For two, I am by no means, stuck on one brand of cars. All types of cars have their own individuality and I love to see different and unique cars put on the market. It's not the brand is better, the new aveo, imo, just sucks.
