Attitude is everything. Even if you are one of the unlucky ones with a body that can't keep up, your brain can make connections to pull itself out of a mess. Been there and I'm half your age. Every year that goes by I'm in better condition than the year before. My daughter is 5 and im considering putting both of is in some martial arts training, I think that is the best thing to discipline body and mind. Congrats on this milestone and GL with your next set of goals! Happy b-day!

For little kids, probably karate or taekwondo is most suitable; plus it's hard to find anything else anyway, in lots of places. Avoid contracts. For adults, for self-defense kickboxing and muay thai are more practical; plus some type of groundwork.Originally posted by getnpsi View Post
