Attitude is everything. Even if you are one of the unlucky ones with a body that can't keep up, your brain can make connections to pull itself out of a mess. Been there and I'm half your age. Every year that goes by I'm in better condition than the year before. My daughter is 5 and im considering putting both of is in some martial arts training, I think that is the best thing to discipline body and mind. Congrats on this milestone and GL with your next set of goals! Happy b-day!

"Lacking maturity" keeps the bad women away anyway. Fun women think immature is fun, and a grounded individual boring. We don't wanna be boring now do we?

For little kids, probably karate or taekwondo is most suitable; plus it's hard to find anything else anyway, in lots of places. Avoid contracts. For adults, for self-defense kickboxing and muay thai are more practical; plus some type of groundwork.

Yup, I say attitude is 90%. Luck, perseverence, brains and skill make up the other 10%. I tend to be grounded and boring IMO, but still try to be mentally flexible, which takes more self-awareness as I get older.

He's just down the street from you Tom.
Just head north on McKnight and hang a left on Olive.
He just missed out on all the JYing we did, not to mention the STL meet.
Would have been good to have a 3rd at St Louis Bread for coffee or beer at Charliez's place in IL.
