I love how at the bottom of the page it lists the low, average and high scores
yet the low score is higher than the average score which if i remember basic math right... that's impossible lol
don't think i want to read a review from someone who can't get basic math right
who's to say they even counted to 5 right?

The Festiva is a nice car. So is the Mazda2. Funny how I had more hopes up for the Fiesta and like the Mazda better. I think Mazda will have a hard time keeping up with demand. I did not drive either yet...but am tempted to!

although i would rather have the Mazda2's rear seat back with the headrests
I know damn well 4 people my size cant take a road trip, but i usually drive alone anyway

really getting tempted to sell the Festy

Actually, the 2 has a very easy to enter back seat and I had room to stretch out...way more than in the Fiesta.

The horsepower, transmission, and mpg eliminate the Mazda for me. Of course I'd love to take all the best things from the 2 that would swap and make a hybrid!

I think their line up would look kind of silly with the 121 sitting there next to the current cars, haha.

test drove the Fiesta 4dr hatch 5-speed

i like the power from first thru 3, but forth and fifth didn't have any get up and go on my hilly test drive

maybe i have to stretch out the RPMs further next time

                        I am the original

I test drove a 2011 sport model with the 5 speed the other day, I thought it was better than the fiesta, which I also test drove (2011 sedan ses powershift automan). The thing I liked about the 2 over the fiesta was the radio and hvac controls, on the 2 the buttons are easily within reach and not awkward to use, unlike the fiesta. As far as performance, handling felt about the same, and the 2 was faster even though it has less power. I was a fiesta fan boy but now I am strongly considering a 2, Mainly because its cheaper, lighter, and faster (14,000 for the 2, 17,000 for the fiesta)

Regarding the 2's lower HP, two words: rear turbo.

Unfortunately we don't know anyone who has experience installing these. Sigh....

I should mention, I did get to test drive the 2 last week. I was really impressed with the manual sport model. Highly considering it as my next car. My Dad is trying to make me get something bigger, but it's not in my budget and it's no better on gas!
