        I challenge you to a hyper-mile duel! You think you are all that with your 48.9 after one fill hey? Well then, a friendly challenge that hopefully will max out both our mpg! :wav::wav::wav:

                Ground rules to this competition?
                Like what are we to use for ODO readings?
                Example: my instruments cluster ODO reads approx 2.5 miles more per 100 miles driven than my GPS unit

                GPS = 400 miles
                ODO = 410 miles

                This does have a major effect on the MPG calculation.

                Another reason why I've never joined Fuelly, because of this difference and how to integrate this into the log.

                  Stock tires? If not I would say use the tire size calculator. If just off then maybe we should all check for accuracy. What else would cause it to be off?

                    Yeah that's why I've never bothered... 185/60-14's are great for everything except fuel economy calculations haha.

                      It is really easy to find out if your odo is accurate or not....go here http://www.metrompg.com/posts/odomet...ogle-earth.htm to learn more.

                      I personally use a GPS to check my odo, and it is pretty accurate, and even if yours is not, just convert it by whatever ratio you are off by....aka read the above website.....

                        So should I just use my GPS and post both of them up? will this be good for the game

                          You should post the "actual" or "real" mpg by way of the most accurate measurement possible.....aka GPS or Google, or if need be, use the mile marker idea, and convert by that ratio when you fill up.

                            Mile markers are as imprecise or at least more variable than our Odo's.
                            I think, but can not prove, the GPS is the more accurate method to measure distance.
