I've had several people stop by my house (areafesty1) and inquire about one of the "rabbits". I ask what Rabbits? There are no Rabbits here. Then they give me a funny look and ask "those little cars aren't Rabbits"? I tell them NO they are Ford Festivas. They then ask, wanna sell one of them? I say No they are not for sale.Jerry

I get "cute" from lots of cute girls or "ugly" from lots of ugly girls. Lucky me
I've had to actually convince people that Hermes wasn't a "3 cyl Yugo" when I lived in Arkansas. A few of my buddies call Trixie the "Mr. Bean car". Oh, and yes, lots and lots of "Fiesta" treatment for both of them.
Oh, and for some odd reason the Arabs in my area keep trying to buy her from me, saying that Festivas are a favorite in their country. I guess they were popular in the Middle East?- 1996 Ford Ranger 2.3L 141,240 mi (Traded...wish I hadn't)

fantastically popular in the middle east, specifically Iran, there are a couple members on here from that area, they are marketed as the Saipa 111. I can't remember the guy's user tag but he has posted a bunch of awesome pics of the festys over seas decked out to the nines.Owner of:

I hear Fiesta all the time but I usually just roll with it. It's getting funny in a group setting when someone asks about my "Fiesta" one of my friends jumps in and corrects the offender!
I had a first today though... someone asked how my Fiat did on the road trip

Yeah, one of the guys who asked to buy it was a truck driver a few years older than I was and he was from Persia, so he was probably referring to the Saipas in his country.
Half the time when I pull up people say "DANG!!! I haven't seen one of those little things in YEARS!"
Also, the automatic seat belts blow people's minds for some reason. They aren't really so nifty when they get in a bind and it feels like your car is strangling you for flinging it around too many corners. Or when you get out of your friend or girlfriend's car and get thrown back in the seat realizing that you are still strapped in.- 1996 Ford Ranger 2.3L 141,240 mi (Traded...wish I hadn't)

Someone asked if it was a Geo Prizm the other day....
Then he said I haven't seen one of those in a long time and good job when I told him it was a Festiva and I pulled it from a junkyard.
I've had some dumb rednecks call it a Yugo.
And just about every kid in a truck around here will point or stare. Really quite annoying. I also drive a lifted 4x4, but I also like little cars. Haha.
And of course Fiesta. It took me forever to train my dad to say "Festiva."~Austin

You may be on to something. I have never really named official any of my festivas yet. If I got chili pepper seat covers and a trip to the indoor swap meet to have cute asian girl make me some vinyl stickers, I could rock a fajita1993 GL 5 speed
