  • Come get it and you can have it.
It's not totally rust free. There's some rust on the front part of the frame. And quite a lot of collision damage to the core support and control arm mount.

The city complained about inoperable vehicles so I have to get rid of it. The other red on in the ditch is going in the garage.

        • Turn switch indicator broke so I went to pnp to pull one off the only Festy there when I spotted a 90 Tracer. Now my turn indicator is fixed and I have an intermittant wiper switch too.

            • So a Tracer or Escort with a intermittent wiper switch will swap over, no problem? Just the switch and stalk, not the entire assembly with the turnsignal stalk and everything.

Wish I knew that, would have picked one up.

Going to have to get one if when I go to the upullandpay next time.

I transferred the whole assembly since I was using both switches. I just had to re-route the plug next to the wiper switch over instead of under because it's positioned differently. I think I've seen write ups where people have just transferred the switch.

                    • Hope, I´m in the right categorie.

In quest to get a nice and clean Pride, I drove to a car trader. I couldn't believe my eyes. What a beautiful neat car! 30k miles, automatic and all the funny electrical gimmicks. No rust*, no dents. Only a small rustspot* on the left door and a deadjusted bonnet. No problem.

But wait. Trader wanted 2300 $. My suggestion was 1500 Euro / 1900 $. No deal!

Tell the dealer that parts are obsolete and that you are doing him a favor by taking it off his parking lot. How did the hood get deadjusted? Did they take the bonnet off for a reason?

                            • Well, my fuel tank is no longer holding pressure, it was leaking enough before to create moisture on the exterior of the tank, but at least the tank pressurized.

Now I have no hiss when removing the cap, and I am down almost half a tank from a full tank, and have done less than 100 miles.
No gas on ground, and no more moisture on the tank than before.

Luckily a new tank off ebay is less than $100 shipped, bad news is I don't have the money for it yet.
So from now on, I can only fill the tank halfway, or else I am just going to be wasting money.

                              • Half a tank means less weight and better gas mileage!
