            • Had the front end aligned and discovered that I need LCA's(bushings) and swaybar bushings and the front frame horn pulled.

                  Well I had done an uncomfortable amount of that already. Ended up loosening the pressure plate so the clutch could move just a bit, stuck it in all the way, removed, tightened, put the trans back on, bolted it up.

                  Also greased all the moving parts in there. Well, except the clutch obviously

                  • Weld broke under the exhaust manifold, at the flange. Having it repaired now.

                      • Got my Festiva back from the Transmission place yesterday. New axles, clutch, throw out bearing. Yay!

                        NEXT: Replace the rear wheel bearings.

                        • Got some new wheels at PnP. 13inch steelies off of an old Mustang II. I'll have to get these nasty old tires off (had to slash them anyway so they wouldn't try to charge me for them, don't think 195/70-13 Mud n' Snows will fit real well.) And I got my 165/70-13's waiting here to get put on. Any suggestions on the color for the wheels? I was thinking white or silver spray paint after a clean up with a wire wheel.

                                Hope you know that you don't press in the races, you just tap them in with the old ones, and a block of wood.

                                Only the front bearings require a press.
