  • brand new idea for a festiva

    ok i was driveing home and got an idea lol i was wanting to know if anyone has ever turned a festy into a golf cart or has anyone ever lifted one i thought of this and was wondering if it can be done just something to mess with lol give me some ideas what yall think

      they said it couldnt be done...they said i was a fool...when it was done...all they said was "i wanna drive it!" this was a normal 89 ford fesitva, bought t...

      i actually have plans and measurements to make a long travel suspension for it, but just never got around to it. it would be pretty sick i really wanna do it, its the perfect platform

              I have a donor cheap
              1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.
              1991 White L, BP/F5MR, protege header, full aspire swap with gr2's, seats, and sway bar, 15" konig's, short throw, escort console.
              1991 blue L, 5 speed.
              1988 red L-plus-all stock.

                  A 323 GTX is a possible donor. A LOT of fabrication and talent is required.

                    And the lifted festy and the golf cart have both been done numerous times as have trucks, rear wheel drive conversions, V8's etc etc

                        It will take lots of fab work. Lots lots lots.
                        Not to mention 323 GTX's are rare cars. So it will be hard to find and expensive then you will be tearing it apart.
                        There is probably a better option but really whatever you do is going to be from the ground up.

                        But if you've got the $ and time do it! You will have the sweetest festiva ever!

                              There was even a festiva with tank treads for sale in Canada a while back. Well really it was just a body on a tank, lol
