  • Removing shift knob

    So I figured all they needed was to be Screwed off, this is not the case unless mine is stuck.


    HELP!

    Yep yours is stuck. It should just screw right off. Grab it with both hands and give it a death grip. Twist as hard as you possibly can. It'll come off.

      if u cant get it to turn and dont mind a coupke dings in the knob, take a channel locks or any bigger tyle pliars and try that. keep in mind leverage is your friend.

        you know those sockets that remove stripped nut heats. I'd guess a 50mm size and use your 4 foor breaker bar. That don't work, burn it off. fire! fire!

        Seriously, I had one do the same thing. I used a towel and some channellocks like mckabe said.

            Step 4-(Optional)-Pick up chicks at Gym in your sweet Festiva!

                  Dumb question but you never know... Have you removed the boot around the shifter? Those can hold them down pretty well!
