Ahh ok yeah i get what you mean GenevaDirt, local autoparts place cant help me with a new set, although i have seen some new ones on ebay. The weather is crap here today and i have been flat out with my business so havent had a chance to work on it, although i have to say i do like getting in it and moving it around... never thought i would say that about a Festiva lol

okay well i'm itching to get back into motorsport, i used to race a clubman go kart and i was contemplating selling the Festiva to help fix my motorbike but now i'm thinking of selling my motorbike to set the festiva up for some small club level rallying, what do you think?

Some rally tyres, exhaust & a bash plate for starters?

One guy who used to post here has a gutted, stripped festy with a sohc carbed B6 and crazy suspension and tires. His festy got fastest time of the day at three auto-crosses in a row. The last was at a Porsche club.

Passenger's side lock (in Canada/US) and driver's door in Oz (I think).. right hand side of the car as seen from the boack at any rate.

My car key was cut from the code on that lock.. think I took pics..

Hey Darrenryall, thanks for that, i took the (right door) lock out last week but there was no code on it, so i might try the passenger door lock (left door) and see if there is anything on there.

                      Thanks for the pics!

The clutch is pretty stuffed, i've adjusted it as much as i can but it still shudders and is really high. It still drives but not to good. Took it up the alley behind our house and its a pretty zippy little thing, turns on a 5cent piece i gotta say this thing would be an awesome little rally car, dunno what it would be like as a track car though.

You have a "WA" Festiva. The Kia Avella (our Ford Aspire from '94 to '97) was also a "Festiva" there, but a "WB." WB suspension and brakes can be put on your car. Do some "Aspire swap" searches and you should have plenty to read about.

Do you have Kia Rios there? They may have been called "New Prides" early on.
