i picked up my 5door with rusted out doors and non working boot hatch , no aircon or radio , buggered radiator , cv joints and a kronik oil leak for $800.. i went halfs with mum so $400 and it was tbh the biggest p.o.s. but it grew on me.. i am selling the xbox today and should be giving Glow_mouse a call to see if his dads is still up for sale.. >__> otherwise i would have come down for yours woodsy.. glws.. probs just some tire kickers.. if so give us a buzz on here , grafton (2ish hrs) is better then a drive to toowoomba (4hrs).

That second ebay car was at $200 when it started xD been watching it.

Great find, great deal! Congratulations!! And interesting to note that (to most of us) the windshield washer apparatus has shifted sides along with the driver.

Would love everything to make a RHD. $300 would be a steal... but shipping to the states would own me...

if you could find another and ship them together in the same container it would allow you to get two.. plus someone could pack it full of spare parts ect..

Wish I could pick up a festy/aspire for 300 bucks LOL..i'd flip it for 500 without touching it! Or fix it and get more, after I strip what I want from it anyway.

I've still got it, plenty of interested people as usual but no one with the money, i've been offered stupid amounts for it like $150, $200 etc and i even had a bloke ask if i would take $200 for it as he was only going to send it to scrap metal.

Got a key cut for it from the original key code so no more starting it with a screw driver.

Tidied the speaker wiring up yesterday so its now all hidden like it should be and not running ontop of the carpet, some people should not own cars.

Am going to price up a second hand windscreen for it today. Still not sure if i will keep it and sell my motorbike or not. I just picked up a new job and am not getting as many shifts as i would like to be able to keep a car on the road, but will see what happens. Fuel pricing here is just stupid at the moment, its $1.50 a Litre up the road so if i was going to get a car its probably a good idea to keep this one.

Got some dents out of it yesterday while i had the interior plastics off for the speaker wiring, it will get a wash either today or tomorrow and i'll get some new pics up.

The only downside to it is it needs a screen and will need a blue slip then you gotta put 12 months rego on it, so its about a $1200 car once thats done.

yeah i payed $800 for mine (kinda of a rip but ehh ) and it needed a new radiator which was 200 and rego was 600 so overall the car was 1600ish and lasted a year..needs new doors now and cv joints.. so im either going to do that or find something else and project it..

yikes...lots of indecisiveness. Yea brayy bro. I actually managed to get a good look at my dads blue lunchbox...needless to say the chassis's done. Twisted...not much but enough to ensure it'll never pass a roadworthy ever again.

As for mr woodsy. 01-02 and 00 kia rio springs fit on the festy struts. There was some speculation on which struts from the rio fit on these cars. Someone managed to stuff some 01's on. But i never confirmed it..
Exterior? Duuuude...the reason there's not much in the way of bodkits...hehe the list would be massive! Kia,nissan, mitsubishi, fiat, ford, mazda you name it! Any bumper that has similar fender curves, square edges or even a remote clip here or there will possibly and absoulute certaintly
will either req a little modding or get lucky with a direct bolton no fuss!

Includes wings off pajeros, rav4's etc etc. Its all good. tried it with the blue box at me ol man's. That car's had some knarly bodykits and its never even been out on the road with any of them...har har..

                            Chin up!

Okay the Festiva has sold, ended up getting $400 for it. Its abit of a shame to sell it because it could of been such a fuelmiser and good daily transport / fun car.

But due to not working full time i couldnt afford to get it back on the road and my motorbike needed attention so the festiva had to go.

                                I'll still pop on though.
