    new car! 1984 svo stang

    Got the car a couple days ago. Runs amazing.
    list of mods.....

    Hx35 holder turbo (new) 16psiT-bird boost
    T-bird computer and injectors
    255lph fuel pump
    Gutted ported and polished upper and lower intake and faced forward
    Adjustable timing pulley
    full 3"exhaust. Mandrel bent exhaust w/magnaflow muffler
    Frontmount intercooler w/3" piping
    stainless turbo header
    External wastegate
    Loud gov

    Im sure there is more that im forgetting but oh well lol

    The car has 89,000 original miles.

    I picked her up for 2500$!! Its a kick in the pants to drive so I cannot imagine what my testy will be like when its done!

    Nice Score!!!! I had an 84 Cougar XR-7 with the SVO motor. Of all the cars I've owned she was one of my all time favorites. If not for the rust I would still have it.

      1986 Comp Prep SVO Mustang(1 of 83) Four cylinder turbo! (Think first Fox body "R" model!)
      1995 F-150 Extra Cab and it was free!
      1991 Festiva L, Surf Blue with A/C
      1995 Jeep Cherokee 2wd 5 speed 4.0 and it was free!
      1993 Aqua Festiva and it was cheap!
      1994 Brake Swap and it was cheap!
      1969 Ford F100 Big Block Ranger and it was free! (coming 2/12)

                  How bout a 2.3 sandrail and a purple 93 ranger? I had that engine in those vehicles too. I blew up the rangers engine and had it rebuilt to live on in a desert toy.

                    I owned an 84 SVO for 22.5 years. Sold it and new owner put a larger turbo on it, put a rod through the block and then parted it out. I got it at the tail end of my senior year in high school in 86. It would be like a senior today driving an 2009 Mustang GT. I sold my 73 Cuda and had been working at a grocery store. I don't think a kid can do that nowadays with the prices of vehicles today.

                            I think you got a heck of a deal. Any older Fox body around here brings more than that if it's in good shape. I think the SVO's will be collector status in a short time. Too bad you didn't get the factory wheels with it.
