Truth, however I do all the time. If I drove it like a normal human being, I'd never have to, but when you're shifting every 5 seconds up and down hills and driveways and around so many corners all while throwing papers.... It's just easier not to think about perfect rev matching... Hahaha

And that Festy was super clean. Then they just had to go and slam into it repeatedly...

I know it is suppose to be entertainment and not an actual scientific test but here are some observations I saw.

                      1. The festiva only cost a fraction of the other two cars, new.
                      2. The festiva could have almost made the entire trip on a 10 gal tankful. ( ka ching )
                      3. The only complaints about the festiva were that it was dirty and small. Not the festivas fault.
                      4. Put a clutch in the festiva ( if thats really what the problems was ) it will go another 200,000.
                      5. Weird that after a 500 mile trip that two of the cars broke down within four miles of the finish line.
                      6. Never had a mirror fall off of a car.
                      7. We need a rematch under real conditions with real criteria !! The festiva will be the hands down winner for cheapest car to operate. IMO

I think TG should get email flooded by all of us festiva lover and call a rematch. Why rig a show when knowing out of the 3 cars the festiva is the most reliable.

Really.... it depends on the car you buy. I dont think mine was looked after all that well by its previous owners and has caused me one problem after another, nothing major of course, but for the sake of a show like Top Gear where they dont plan on fixing anything, just getting in and driving, of course the festiva could have problems, just like any other budget car.
