And here the wiper motor has 4 mounting points and it worked in the hole.

Discuss enhancing your Festiva or Aspire interior and exterior (including custom paint, bodywork, seats, etc)

That picture I had must be for a Ford Escort wiper then. Ignore it. I am going into the garage and take a picture of my motor. Give me twenty minutes.

i am just an idiot, i drilled the hole an inch to the left of where it should be. That is why the hole is about an inch off I started my measurement on the 2" mark and went to 9.75 instead of 10.75
After looking at my pictures i realized what i did Tomorrow i will drill new holes 1 inch to the right of where they are and it should match up perfectly

Thanks for all your help though

Here is a pic of my rear wiper motor installed.

The hole is 8-3/4" from the left as measured from 0" as in freshtiva's picture.
Personally, I would just go to the junkyard and get a new rear hatch. I got lucky. I found a rust free hatch with the rear wiper and spoiler on it at the junk yard. It only cost me $50 all together.
Otherwise the holes are going to overlap.
I am sure glad we got this sorted out.

The only festiva i have found around here got scrapped 2 days ago. The junkyard in town says there is an 88 on their lot but after 3 days of searching i gave up....

So the result I used the hole saw again to drill out a place for the motor to go.
My metal fabrication skills are pretty sorry...... But the result

Ill pick up bolts tomorrow, its covered anyways right

That's funny. My hatch was originally red before I painted it green! Keep looking. Will it wipe properly one inch off? I guess it should.
