Have you heard about the cut intake mod? I was looking at the thread over on cp.com and they claim its a 5 HP increase. I don't know if its been dyno tested tho. I guess there's a huge velocity drop that needs cut back and smoothed over?

I'm thinking about trying it since I've got 2 vics/BP intake manifolds laying around.

drumroll please bring on the pics to prove it all. btw this was silv3rbull3ts car and was a shell with no motor/trans/sus/seats but it was seriously the cleanest festy id ever seen on the outside so i hope no one gets upset that i satin painted it

      inspection yay!

      nice clean interior

      alittle side action

      back

      and now the motor

      another

and heres the tie open job i did

i hate the ride height because of the aspire setup im more of a low guy. plus i hate the wheels. i have 13x8" diamond wheels that i painted black and road cone orange that will get some 175's stretched on them and you know i gotsa drop this mo-fizzle

      hope ya likes

the cable side broke but its all good now. im still having issues adjusting the cable to my liking we put that giant trans mount in so the place where the cable would mount on the stock trans is covered up so its hjust being held in place by that mount.

i had both and the first one was super solid and in my opinion the second one is just as stiff as the first but like i said i think that is my fault because i know things arnt hooked up correctly because its almost like my cable isnt long enough or something weird like that so i cant mount it where its supposed to go by the pedal and i cant mount it where it should on the trans either because of that huge mount so im confused that i mite be using a cable that i had laying around for an omni

How can I test the vics to make sure its working? Can I just hit the throttle and watch it to see if it opens looking at it from the engine bay?
