        Bought it. LOL Just kidding.

Biggest regret is removing the interior, but I only rarely regret that.

Jacked up my perfect-bodied '93 using stock jack in dark. Car wasn't lifting for some reason. Jack was not under lip...was under rocker panel causing huge dent!

^ I was typing about getting rid of euro. I went to look at a porsche 944 a few years ago, that was for sale. Long story short...the guy saw my festy and offered to trade for his 1985 porsche with 90k on it. At the time my car was still a b3 and had 200k on it. I accepted. I had the porsche going in 1 day and it was sweet. When I went to get a title it had a certificate of destruction against it. He didn't know that so he traded me back. I ended up buying the porsche and selling it to someone who was going to make it a track car. Glad it worked out like it did

I parted out a minty 89 LX 5 speed with 150K just because of a bad head gasket. I made money hand over fist - $152.50 for the pwer mirrors, $80 for the tilt column, $80 for the console, etc etc etc etc etc. But I took a solid festy off the road. I parted out an 89 L 4 speed with air like that too. IT had a chipped valve. I found out after I had sold the carb and a bunch of other parts. I just regret parting out so many.

It was at least a day and a half of wide open free revving. A testament to the festivas' durability.
