I think you are right because of the upper interior door trim but where are the adjustable head rests. Also manual mirrors instead of electric. Could be an 1989 L plus but no black roof pillars. Re-spray would explain that and lack of black area under rear window like most LX ??
sigpic The Don - Midwest Festiva Inc., Missouri Chapter
The simpsons has many of the characters driving Festivas. Flanders car flops back and forth from a festiva to a swift/sprint. Ive seen Lenny driving one too.
Yes, I noticed that too. I recently have been watching through the Simpsons since season 1.
(Yay for piracy)
I just got to Season 15 Episode 2, and Homer reads off a Classified. Here is a screenshot. simpsons festiva ad.jpg
$14.5k!?!? damn! That is more than one cost at the dealership fully loaded!
But Homer is going crazy looking for mistakes in newpaper articles because Marge found one and got featured on the news, and got a free tshirt. He goes through a few, then reads off "Ford Festiva for sale. Ehh I will put that in the maybes."

1991 Ford Festiva BP (Full Aspire/Rio Swap) (337k Miles) (Around 95k Engine)
2002 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport 2.2L DOHC Ecotec (Threw a Rod)
1998 Chevy Monte Carlo LS 3.1 V6 (225k miles) Best MPG = 28
Not sure if this has been posted here yet, but the old horror flick "It" literally at the end of the movie there are about 3 Festiva appearances in 10 seconds!
