      • I got the first season of Melrose Place for $5 at a discount store, and in the episode called Lonely Hearts, Allison is wanting to replace her 80's Escort "Betsy". She and Billy go to a used car lot, and just before she sees a convertible she wants to buy, they walk past a Festiva- in fact a Coca Cola Red Festiva just like my first 88. Since I bought that one at Sunset Ford in Westminster I started wondering what the chances might be that in fact this Festy was MY Festy- the episode is from 1992, while I bought my Festy in late 1997. Anyway, very little chance I guess in a city of 6 or 7 million people, but probably better than winning the lottery. In fact a little Asian man who lived in my building had an identical Coke can Red Festy at the time I got mine, but his was an 89 with a 5 speed and I only had a 4 speed.

        The 88 "Diana", circa 2011

        • There is a Festiva in episode 3 or 4 of the first season of stranger things. I was re-watching it last week and just noticed the outline. Since its too new for the shows setting (first sensor is set in fall '83) you can find specifics by just googling "stranger things festiva".
