    probably better off. you can see what a crap job kia did on molding the boot on mine. sometimes the kia parts are noticeably inferior in finish than the made in japan ford parts.

    cool. glad you contribute pics. the isolators are good to have. usually destroy the old ones in rust belts. wonder why you need isolators on the filter? vibration? it's already got in/out rubber tubing.

    Thanks F3BZ, The entire console shipped to me via Korea post would be $50.63, which isn't too bad.
    I'll probably just order one and add a few other misc small parts at the same time.

    that's a great tip. i tried it. just kept pulling on the mounting arm as i rotated it. takes a pretty good tug. the mazda based gtx is a little easier and obvious with the set screw.

    I believe Kia does not have stock on that part.
    That Ford part is out of stock everywhere.
    I bought mine used from Australia.

    Has anyone ordered on of the Pride shifter boots from FourGreen?

    And does it come with the retainer piece? Or can it be ordered separately?
    Now that I'm converting Rosie to a 5 speed I will need the boot to put in my automatic console.

    The visor flaps will come off and swap over pretty easily. I forget the position but I think it is about full extension and the flap will pull off and can be easily put on the US late model rods.
