That is one niiiiiiiiiiiiiice looking Festiva! Welcome and hello!

I like the cheesy graphics too.

Next spring you can look for brake swap stuff and in the meantime enjoy your new stock brakes.

Question: Are those AR Estrellas 13 X 5.5" or 14 X 6" in size? If the latter, you won't need new wheels. The 14" Estrellas are dual pattern with both Festiva (4 X 114.3mm) and Aspire (4 X 100mm) bolt sizes. If they're 13s, then your other pattern is 4 X 108mm, which is a waste for Festiva owners (and what my '91 AquaMutt has). On the other hand, the 13s only weigh 12.5 pounds each, which is fairly light.

Be sure and check the following soon:

    -hard brake lines for corrosion
-ball joints for too much play (if one lets loose, you'll have a catastrophic failure of your front suspension!)
-main fuse block (most of us switch from the old style fusible links to newer hard plastic fuses)
    -steering rack boot

    Enough advice for now. Enjoy!

Oh, one more thing: Ohiostiva Fall Fling is Sunday, November 3rd. Look it up in the meets section and see if you can make it!

Welcome! And as everyone else said.... Nice Car!!!

Get a factory tach cluster and you won't have to mount the aftermarket one....you'll have one right beside the speedometer

Check the For Sale section. There are a few in there for sale.

Stock tach? Aftermarket? There's a wire close to the coil that has the signal. Someone will know the color.

Leapin's a good friend of mine who might be able to help you out with the installation logistics! Welcome to the forums. I think you're really going to like it here. A Festiva is definitely the right choice for you regardless of what you're looking to accomplish with it. Be sure to keep us posted if you have any dreams, questions, or concerns about the car!

Looking at the video, it already has the Escort dome lamp. What I should have added was that it needs a wing. I have a white wing that I plasti-dipped black for my red car. Maybe if he comes up with a red wing, I'll do a straight swap

Now I'm wondering what forum member was the PO, it looks well taken care of.

The tach wire is yellow/green or (if you give up breaking your neck looking for it under the dash) you could just run an extra wire from your ignition coil directly to your tach.
