        Just looks like a feedback carb'd B3.

        Definitely not a Miata motor.

Could still be a first gen b6 ! Look on the right rear top block ear . It will be labeled b3 or b6.
New build on the way .

unfortunately these are of no help finding me a dizzy cap and rotor. no idea what this motor came from but none of the caps and rotors we looked at matched up. I hate halfbreed cars that i didnt build.

Looks like the Festy distributor to me. That's how my B6 is, I just used the disty, cam and rockers, intake and carb, and every other bracket and part from the
festy except the exhaust manifold. you should probably get a Rocketman carb adapter and either an '81 to '86 Escort carb or a Weber 32/36 DGEV. I just switched from a Weber to an Escort carb and in my opinion, Escort carbs are better. You will definately get more power than with that original POS.

hey that was my next topic how to get rid of all that egr crap and vacuum stuff on the firewall. But today i noticed a different problem I'm thinking with the distributor maybe ignition module once it gets warmed up it runs horribly sputters and misses badly trouble starting while warmed up ect. By chance where would i find one of these rocketman carb adapters you speak of zoe60?

If you pm him im sure he will work something out with you. I bought a vaf adapter from him and I was 100% satisfied with the end product.
91 Festiva L "Erika" b3t swap on the way

Sounds and looks a lot like mine, but I have a completely stock '88 LX. Problems are even similar. Looking at dizzy rotor, does it look like there's marks from arcing? Once upon a time replacing that was enough to fix my issues.
