Got everything except what I needed today. Lol.but the good news is its coming together soon the car I have nicknamed War Machine will be running and driveable. I am clueless on how to tackle the mangled cowl... Any ideas? Any ways, got a bondo and parts pic..

I would cut the old one off and mig the new/used one back on.
Still lots of work but a much better repair than working with what's there

I would but the panel below also has been mangled leaving nowhere for the wiper arm to mount. Thats my predicament...

Cut what you need from the donor.
weld it in touch up the paint then do the cowl.
If you were closer I could say come here and get what you want off my parts car.

I wonder if aspires have the same diameter holes in the brackets... People around here grab up festivas like gold.. The only donor I have is an aspire..

I might just do it. Lol seriously. I need ALOT of hard to find parts for this build. Including but not limited to a drivers side manual window regulator all interior plastics from the front seats back and a rear seat.

I have it all but extra plastics I just threw out some not so great 88-89 plastics they were moded to work in a 90-93 but I got some different ones. You could always do like mine and spakel them. The seat I have is not great and possibly got wet but you can have it. The car is going to the scrap yard soon and I would like for as much as possible to be used up.
If your serious about it pm me for my address.

I still need to pull a few things so it will probably be a could of weeks but I want it gone before it gets to cold for me to mess with it.

Head came in the mail. Waiting on the machine shop to finish swapping the new pistons onto the rods. Is there any difference in the aspire cam and the festiva? I noticed the new head has different rockers.. Just want to know for valve clearance.

Aspire cam has roller rockers and Festy has solid rockers. The Aspire cam should be used with the Aspire rockers. Same with Festy.
