as long as ur valve seals are good and it is just burning b/c of blow by an oil catch can would save you of burning all of your (uncle festers/lucky's) oil right... still might burn some but not as muh right?

Yea on one of my festivas I had a huge problem with blow by. I did a head gasket and valve stems seals thinking the problem was something else. Here I had so much blow by that my crankcase was pressurizing and blowing out gaskets. It is my beater festy so all i did was put a hose from the dipstick tube to a bottle. Magically I stopped blowing out seals. Not the correct way, but it works and it stopped leaking oil. And I know your next question, yes the pcv valve is new and the system is clear.just thought i would share my experience. It isn't pretty but it works!The new keeper of Uncle Fester!! 88 5-speed, efi, now with ac!
