high idle on cold start

    I would start with checking for vacuum leaks in all of the rubber hoses and then maybe clean the Idle Air Control Solenoid to make sure it isn't sticking. It could possible be the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor but 3K is really high.

      thats a good idea. I'll try that and let ya know if it works. is the idle air conrtol soleniod and the air control sensor the same thing?

        I have never heard it called an Air Control Sensor before but maybe. The Idle Air Control Solenoid looks like this.
