93 festiva GL 2 automatic Not starting( ignition system ?)

i havent checked the wiring anywhere else ( dont really know how to other than wiggling while trying to crank)
where is that fuseable link btw?

Little brown box , on the drivers inner fender , has 3 wires looped on top of it .

ahh ok. what kind of things should i be trying with it. i have wiggled the wires a little and nothing but thats all i have tried on it so far.
is it safe to un screw it and take a look while the car is off or is it hot?

I think it may have power on 1 plug , no bid deal.

I took a emery board /fingernail file , trimmed it down to fit in the hole , then pulled the wires out and ran that board down in the connector , to clean it up .

Did you check all the other connections on the VAF and disty yet.
1 more thing , do you know if the fuel pump is running ?

Can you try spraying something into the intake , to see if it will run at all .

All you hoses on the intake must be connected for it to run also .

the rest of it like the fuel pump and everything should be perfect. i mean it really runs nice.

i took off the distributor and cleaned the inside of it which didnt really need it and it has a new cap and rotor and my wires are good leading to the plugs and coil.

if i wanted to check the connection to it from the coil to see if the spark is coming through the coil i would just pull off the main lead and volt meter to the neg battery terminal and positive to the main lead coming off the coil while its cranking right?

true i had that happen before the 3 jumper wires on the brown box

i mean it was just very apparent that it was electrical from the way it failed . driving along rpm perfectly steady no sputter or anything and then wack failure as if i pulled the key out. and then getting it restarted the first and second times by playing with the distributor .

Hey....hey....don't forget the original post..."just dropping out...What about the master relay (or what ever it's called, i don't know the acronym)
Remember the key....in run position...directly supplies the coils and the the relay. The relay supplies everything else.

does it have a distrutor???? if it does the main reason u aint getting spark is because your points in other words a black box in side the distributor is bad that why u are not getting any spark let me pull of picture of wut i mean

but i have spark going into the wire right before the coil which is after the control unit correct ? it cost about 100 at autozone. and for that sator i dont have one in the distributor . i took it completely apart and its got a CPS under the rotor
