Sounds like the vacuum advance is bad to me too. You should get a vacuum pump (mityvac or similar) then check the can on the distributor .. the one with two hoses connected to it. Make sure that it holds vacuum and does not leak air. Unfortunately the part is hard to find and expensive as a new part. Good luck!I'm going to come at you like a spider monkey!
