Before replacing the ICM you can take it to some auto parts streos where they will test it for free. When I started my car after replacing the ICM it bucked. I turned off the engine, waited, and started again no problem since. For some info on the ICM look in

Also replced the radiator, water pump and timing belt, just to name a few things - LOL. It still hesitated and bucked in 2nd gear ran rough when cruising and basically made me hate it! Eventually I replace the 02 sensor and viola! it ran great. I'm not saying the 02 sensor will fix all problems, but you will never get to run worth a crap with a bad one.

Today I drove it to work: about 3 miles down the road it seemed to start some minor bucking under load. Just as I drove onto the parking lot at work, it shut off & would not restart. I checked: it was getting gas but the new needle & seat were not sticking. I waited an hour, went out & it started right up but had a flat spot just past idle. I eased the gas past that spot & revved the engine & the flat spot went away. I guess I need to check the hot fuel pressure & figure out how to test the ignition module when hot too.
Any other suggestions?Red '93 GL Auto & A/C

When I had replaced everything but the 02 sensor, It would start and run great except that it would hesitate in 2nd gear, and had a miss at highway speeds. Usually when I would first start to press the gas pedal. You probably have other problems as well.
