So some of you may have been watching or posting in my thread about installing this carb. Well, it ran fine last night but when I went to fire it up today, it was doing the same old crap it used to. So, I pop the hood to check everything out, and find the the "gasket" or conversion gasket or whatever the hell it is called is made of what appears to be a couple of pieces of clip-board material. Well, it absorbed a lot of fuel, and now it is just leaking out all over the manifold, and somehow is even going through the vacuum tubes to the disty! So is the disty shot now? What the hell am I supposed to do about the makeshift gasket? I have attached a picture to show you what I am talking about! Like this on both sides BTW...
