So what your saying is you can hold the coil wire and turn the car over and not get shocked at all? Thats the way I test for spark. Kinda hurts but atleast you will know. I can show you how the coil is wired up on a FI car if that would help. possible you might have some wires backwards.Last edited by 91_festy_Gl; 06-06-2011, 11:56 AM.89L build thread http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=36422

Ill get a picture of the way my coil is wired up so you can make sure your is the same. Something sounds like odd to me.
EDIT- sorry. I was thinking about the way the carbed cars are wired up. FI are straight plug and play so there shouldnt be any backwards wires.Last edited by 91_festy_Gl; 06-06-2011, 12:07 PM.89L build thread http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=36422

Also please verify...it was running perfectly "after" the B6 was installed but then suddenly started getting no spark. And your are absoutely sure your did not make any changes to anything relating to the ignition system that could have caused the loss of the spark. (These questions may seem useless, but they may help your remember something or they may help others to think of something that might help you.)
