Yes, but the sleave it slides on isn't really that long. I maxed out the arm and I can see on the inside of the pressure plate fingers where they touched the disk while it was running. I'm just not sure why it wouldn't free spin inside the assemble with the pedal depressed.

Hi Dennis, maybe you need to use the RIO fork? From what I'm gathering. You mocked it up on the bench, and she worked fine? So maybe its just the fork geomotry thats not apply the pressure to the fingers?

I just happen to have a spare cable F laying around. Unfortunately I'm missing the t/o bearing(its in 91Mcnastys car) so this isn't really accurate, but I slid the flywheel/disk/pressure plate assembly onto the input shaft to the approximate location according to the dirt ring inside the dirty bellhousing. I moved the cable lever to the approximate limit, before it got there, the release fork actually hit the fingers of the pressure plate. What am I missing? from what I saw by doing that, with a t/o bearing in place, it should have dissengaged the clutch with the amount of movement it too on the press, with the amount of travel left on the cable lever travel.

Maybe the TO bearing is the wrong thickness? Jus thinking out loud.I see that the Kia 2002 rio to bearing is .8385 face to face. But cant find anything on a f series for this dimension.

I'll probably be pulling my bp/f out this weekend so I could get the part number off of it and run it down to you. Gotta bring back your tow bar anyways!!

Do what you can, don't put yourself in a bind. It's gonna be a little bit before I can try to reinstall it.
