LOL, pretty sure. When I put it on and it acted funny, but still ran, I switched them for S&G's. Didn't run at all. Uh, pic in a second.

Exactly why I posted the pic! I might have messed up!

Dude! I am NOT used to being this stumped!

Jay suggested partially clogged baskets in the injectors, so I am going to take them out and try the B3 ones.

Well I will be a cockeyed baboon. I pulled the fuel line, and no, I had that arrow to the wrong line. But anyway, I hooked it up just like the B3, but no matter. I pulled the line and had no pressure. Rolled the engine with the MAF hooked up, no fuel. *sigh*

              Simple stuff indeed!

So, last night, when I pulled the fuel lines, and jumped the tester for the pump, I had fuel gushing. Like I said, there was no pressure tonight. Had the daughter crank it with tester jumped, no fuel. Pulled the pump out. Hooked it up properly to the battery. Nothing. Reversed polarity, "whirrr click."

Hooked it back up and it spun just fine. That temperamental little....... That sucker OK DOKIED me last night!

So, the sending unit on it was good, which my old one was NOT, so I swapped my old pump back in to the new sending unit, put it all back in, fired right up. YAY!

Hooking up exhaust next, then chasing down the high idle.

And we are back to this fuel pump not working. It has what, approx 750K on it? No wonder. But for the other one to be bad too? I am skeptical. However, Boopstiva has a brand spanking cost WAY too much new Denso Fuel Pump in her. Pulling it out and trying it.

Or, since I jacked it up to put the exhaust together, I might just be, for all intents and purposes, out of gas :banghead: and no, I wasn't out with the other one. For S&G's, I hooked it up again. No spinny.

I am down to about an eighth a tank, and when we jacked up the passenger front, all the gas went to the rear drivers corner. DUH! I am recording this here as a chronicle for my stupidity and a lesson that skepticism pays

OK, just took a nice little test drive with the daughter. That was fun, and I can't even goose it hard yet!

                      Mo powah Mo Better!

Now, I still have to purchase another timing light, but even with the timing retarded pretty good, and the idle screw all the way in, I am running about 1200 PRM. Any ideas of why that might be?

Edit: The daughter says our fishing expeditions just got more exciting

Not a foot, vacuum, good idea. I have been after vacuum leaks for a while, and while I THINK I got them all, I ain't guessing! Anything else to check for while I got food cooking before I go back out there?

Does the throttle cable have enough slack in it where it connects to the throttle body?
