I should mention to watch that darn clip! Mine flew off into the nether regions of my engine bay and possibly into the gravel driveway below. After an hour searching, I gave up and considered it a sacrifice to the car gods.

        Make any difference at all?

Do you ever get an odd check engine light flashing on briefly?

Should it stay one way when I move it?? Never had a check engine light. I could walk out right now and it would start fine but when I get in it tomorrow morning it will be hateful.

Did you try starting it while the sensor was unplugged?

No I didn't. I did find the coil was sparking tho and I put dielectric grease on all the connections and it stopped sparking so I hope maybe it was just static discharge that was causing it.

Still doing it. Should the coil spark like it is?

The coil should spark, but are you saying you can see a spark? From where exactly? With engine off, make sure your connections in that area are secure.

On the outside, side facing the firewall. And I've only noticed it while starting not after it does finally start

Which plug? There's 3 different plugs around mine. One to the coil, one to the module and another one.
