Haynes manuals are cheap for the knowledge they provide. With that said, maybe this can help. http://www.yotatech.com/f116/spark-l...r-loss-137196/

So I'm thinking a bad coil or bad wire. Can I just test resistance across the plug wires for to see if their good??

        So I did some looking

        1. The 3 wire connector to the module does not have voltage with key on instead all 3 act as a ground when going from + on battery to the connector.
        2. When the car is running and I take a screw driver around the coil I get a spark from the coil to the screw driver and if left long enough the ca dies.
