Not too hard, still getting mine sorted before getting it charged. I should have changed the seals before installing it.lol

hypothetical if you buy a $300 Aspire that has complete cold AC is it worth it to try and use all of that system into a Festiva and if you need a few adapters for some hoses is it still worth it where is the slippery slope of money pit start1993 GL 5 speed

The connectors under the dash are just hanging there waiting for you to plug in.
You just have to remove the plastic duct tube and replace it with the condenser, then pop out the two firewall plugs and push on the rubber condenser drain elbow.
Most of the work is bolting on the compressor, evaporator, dryer, hooking up the hoses, routing the engine A/C harness, driving it in for a pressure test and charge.

umm, the lower pulley on the engine. is it supposed to be a double pulley to carry the compressor belt too?1993 Ford Festiva L blue 170,000 miles

I have a successful A/C install. I will be happy to give you pointers with your install. Be sure you have some good, sharp recip saw blades before you start.
