Hey. Stop. Install a fuel pump and make sure intake hose is connected to vaf and then try to start . It needs constaint fuel pressure to run . You can't make valid claims by blowing gas down the line with your air comp. your causing a lot of false problems .

Fuel pump is coming next business day.
I cheched efi and wire is fine and I cleaned the connections.

I read a thread on a ford forum that said that injector power can be off if a oil pressure sending sensor is bad.

That might be true for a more modern engine.
But, I'm pretty sure the '88 or even '93 festiva isn't one of them.
I with Shadtree, until you have fuel rail pressure you not going to get good info on why your not getting ignition.

I have no power at my injectors I have all unplugged and I see were someone has replaced all but #3 they spliced in different connectors.
I turn the engine over with my tester on the injector wires and no power, also no power at my fuel pump wires as well.
Someone just tell me its a relay or son.
Both my head lightsbulbs are gone any safety ideas

OK I got a digram and am now even more confused as to where to start.
I'm thinking PARTS car.
She's only missing driver side window, left driveshaft and radio trim cover.

Don't part it. Not yet. The lx's are rarer models. Is probably something simple. Like shadetree said it could possibly be the lack of pressure in the line. Did you get that pump installed?

I'm a stupid dummy, got the fuel pump today, Wrong, it was a inline electric pump for carb. So I paid a lil more attention and am now rewaiting for the right one.
Could get it from advanced or orileys for 130$ or 30$ online and use that hundred on more parts.
Plus its airtex so ok

Got the new pump installed. I noticed with my line disconnected, it only pumps while I am cranking instead of like how most cars pump with ignition on.
Unfortunately she will not fire up. I believe I am not getting power at my injectors,
Followed wire diagrams and dang.
What would you look at first
I hate electrical issues. Help me

What does the switch behind the gas pedal control?
With my ignition on I hear under the hood like a relay clicking but I can not find it.
I do not have one on my 91 four speed only automatic

I believe this is your ac cut switch it cuts the ac pump when you floor it. That is if you car has ac if not I have no idea what it would be.

it does have the ac. my four speed does not. that would make sense.
im just digging to find the solution to my injector prob.
looks like im just gonna have to start replacing parts.

Swapped main relay out a my 91 into the 89 AND oh yeah she runs.

You going to open up the non-functional relay and see what the issue was?

Oh yeah a lil glue or something in the points, it now works as well.
Now I'm gonna pop a CV Axel in and find out about my trans mission and we will go from there.

got the cv axle in and trans is fine.i took it a couple of miles down the roadand good deal. now i just got to put in the new radiator.
i have a few more issues like tac stuck at 1000 ? check engine light and so on and on
