If it's a mom and pop yard like the ones close to me. $3-5 if you have other stuff also. $5 otherwise.

Might have been easier to have cut the strut at the lower bushing to get it out of the way, so you could get to the nuts on the back side of the backing plate.

There are NO bolts on the spindle.
You Must remove the nuts from the back side of the spindle.
What looks like bolts on the front side of the backing plate are actually studs that go through the spindle and locate the backing plate.
They can not be loosened, only the nuts.
After all the nuts have been removed, you still might want to tap the studs to get the spindle free.

Please tell me you weren't the one who rounded the hex heads of the studs!
Your going to need to clean the spindle up from the nicks I see in the pic.
Some fine emery cloth or find sand paper and then a good cleaning with oil and a try cloth to get the steel powder removed.
Can't tell for sure, but that looks like it has the hole in it for the castellated nut/nut/keyed washer, is it?

                    Also compliments of Lessersivad:

This is why they call this type of car a 'arse dragger' because thats all it does!all the action is at the front end and we will look at that soon!Do not Att...

We should have looked on U tube first, might have saved you a lot of time and helped you to understand what your looking at.

Yes, that is the cotter pin.
Do you have another to replace it.
Can drop you a few in the mail if you need.

Yeah not too bad, just tap it back in, or before you mount it to the back plate and rear beam put some PB Blaster on it.
When you tighten the nut it should pull it back into the mount.
                        How do the nuts look?
                        Can they be cleaned up?
Or do you need new ones?

DO NOT use Course sand paper.
You just want to take the nicks out, you don't want to scar the rest of the bearing surface, which looks OK.
I'd use 600 or 800 grit sand paper and be very careful.

Good news is its not where the bearing sets at, you should be ok.
As for cotter pins I just got a hole box of assorted sizes from autozone for about 5 bucks.
