  • Leaking coolant from between engine and tranny ?

Today I saw a pool of coolant and it looks to be from the area between engine and auto tranny ?
No idea what to do or where to start ..

    Thermostat Housing gasket?
It would drip down where the engine and trans meet.
Fallow the top radiator hose to the engine and check there for leaks.

If the plug was pushed out by ice, then tap it back and make sure your antifreeze mix is 60:40 propylene glycol to water. You should be good to -48ºC

If it's got a rust hole, change the frost plug and also check your mixture. Add glycol, circulate, hydrometer test. Repeat until you have a specific gravity of 1.046 at 15ºC.

                  So Glug more antifreeze.

I've never mixed it with such precision and measuring like rocket fuel.

                    non aqueous coolant

I could add a bull horn where the overflow tank is!
