Not so much a restriction in flow, but it doesn't provide a proper tune length, nor transition into the turbine. For a Festiva though, it's plenty. There isn't much space for a proper manifold and using 400whp would be an engineering feat with a BP in that light of a car.

Awesome job Mike! You hurt your turbo?

Boost is boost though. I bet the turbo isn't topped out.

I'm using a stock bp26 cast exhaust manifold with a t3 welded to it. It has an intercooler

What turbo manifold did you find, and intercooler or no

That won't guarantee it won't explode.

Several things you could do. Mfactory diff, and that plate mod come to mind.

Blow it up and get another. What else can you do. I've put over 75,000 miles on this trans with multiple launches on turbo. It's getting weaker. But it's the original I put in my first b6t swap. G-series holds the power as long as you don't shift it hard.

So what is the plan for the tranny? It seems like that is a ton of power for the mighty festiva! I bet its fun to drive!

Yes the dyno was hooked to the intake manifold for boost reference.

Dyno sheet showed 18.3 psi. Is that correct?
