I spoke with him once, he did the work himself. If you have a full donor swap it shouldn't be to hard, just a little fab work for the mounts, and a little wiring know how. Good luck with the build.

    You have a pm.

Agreed! I won't diss Honda's. I think they are amazing cars. I had an Integra. I loved that car. But, I like to be different, I don't like the showiness I see so much from Honda's. I do really like the Mazda's too though, the RX-7 has got to be the sexiest car of all time. If I were to do a Honda, I would stick with that. My preference, makes sense to me.

The best thing about that festiva is even with the clean paint, the interior, and everything else it wont get broken into like a Honda. I dont care how wonderful you make a honda...I wont get one. I've given more than a couple friends and parents rides home following a 2 hour police report.

Take no offense to this statement Honda guys but lots of the BMX kids i grew up with (late 1980's) who stole bikes for the 3 piece cranksets and nicer wheels/hubs etc. moved right on to taking acuras for powerplant swaps into their base model crx and civic's when they started driving. As mazda owners we get whole engines for cheaper than an MP3 player, and honest!

btw I definitely can't say my JDM B6T was cheaper than mp3 players! (80GB iPod, 16GB iPhone)...haha...my DD Festiva, on the other hand was cheaper! lol Certainly couldn't say that about my Integra!

its a Kia with a mazda motor and a ford badge.. I think its so funny how every one is pissed cause it has a jap motor in it hahah

BTW, if any thing a high hp and lower torque motor is good in a festiva. Lots of torque = lots of torque steer. Ask me how I know (250+ lb/ft from the b6t mean you turn the wheel almost 90* when getting on the throttle).

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

^^Seriously, but they're really gonna be pissed when the fastest Festiva is Honda powered.

I was watching for you monsoon. But I think this one is unmerited since Micah posted in this thread when it was new. Accurate yes but unmerited IMHO.
